Участие Piraeus Bank в сделке Invel с Pangea.

Издание Nomisma сообщает, что Piraeus Bank стал глобальным координатором и уполномоченным ведущим организатором в финансировании приобретения доли National Pangea компанией Invel Real Estate BV. Покупка акций была частично профинансирована за счет синдицированного краткосрочного займа на сумму 159 727,01 евро, в котором также приняли участие Piraeus Bank, Европейский банк реконструкции и развития, Hellenic Bank и Astro Bank. Следует отметить, что приобретение Invel было поддержано многими институциональными инвесторами, такими как частная инвестиционная компания Castlelake LP и другие инвестиционные фонды. Приобретение доли было осуществлено через Piraeus Bank. Во многих селениях теперь нет банковских отделений, в то время как банковские сборы и комиссии резко возросли. Однако до сегодняшнего дня ни Министерство финансов, ни Президент не выполнили своих обязанностей, говорится в статье. Издание вспоминает слова Хариса Георгиадиса, который утверждал что «этот шаг (закрытие банка) был невероятно положительным», и что он хотел бы, чтобы и другие банки имели возможность избавиться от своих «токсичных кредитов». Далее в статье утверждается, что закрытие КО-ОП принесло огромные прибыли банкам, а также пользу крупным компаниям, но в то же время привело к убыткам домохозяйств и предприятий малого и среднего бизнеса. Hellenic Bank, который приобрел значительную часть активов КО-ОП, завершил 2018 год с чистой прибылью 319,3 млн евро по сравнению с 45,7 млн евро расходов в предыдущем году. Остальные банки также получили прибыль, так как они увеличили свои комиссионные и чистую процентную маржу.

Видеоигры как инструмент политического влияния.

Автор издания Politis анализирует влияние на население политической кампании, проводимой с помощью видеоигр. Поводом стал случай, имевший место во Франции накануне выборов в Европейский парламент. Натали Луазо, глава списка кандидатов от социал-либеральной политической партии «Вперед, Республика!» (La République en Marche), выпустила видеоигру Super Jam Bros, в которой она является главным героем и в конце уровня сталкивается с «боссами» – различными политическими лидерами, которые похитили звезды Европейского Союза.
Автор статьи анализирует различные случаи, когда видеоигры использовались в политических целях, чтобы сплотить избирателей или привлечь новый электорат.

9 088 греческих компаний мигрировали на Кипр с 2012 по 2019 гг.

Издание Phileleftheros Economy сообщает, что Кипр остается привлекательным местом для греческих компаний благодаря конкурентным налоговым преимуществам и стабильности. На Кипре присутствуют известные фирмы из разных секторов (продукты питания, одежда и обувь, розничная и оптовая торговля, нефтяной сектор и сектор страхования). По данным Регистратора компаний, в период с 2012 по 2019 год на Кипре было зарегистрировано 9 088 греческих компаний с греческими акционерами или директорами. За 2017 год количество зарегистрированных греческих компаний составило 1 779, то есть 13% от всех новых компаний, зарегистрированных на Кипре. В 2018 году было зарегистрировано 1 649 компаний, что составило 11,3% всех новых регистраций. В первом квартале 2019 года на Кипре было зарегистрировано 477 компаний (11,7% от общего числа).

Шипинговые агенты – за участие в работе порта Ларнаки.

Шипинговые агенты и некоторые пользователи порта обратились к правительству с просьбой принять участие в консорциуме, который займется комплексным развитием порта Ларнаки. Кипрская шипинговая ассоциация вместе с рядом бизнесменов, осуществляющих торговлю через порт, выступила против процедуры предоставления израильскому консорциуму Ampa Ltd & Israel Shipyards Ltd контракта на строительство новой инфраструктуры. Они уверяют, что из-за этого чисто коммерческое будущее порта не гарантировано. Шипинговые агенты заявляют о своем желании принять участие в заседаниях группы инвесторов, которая будет заниматься реализацией проекта и последующим его управлением. Свои пожелания они высказали в письме, отправленном в Министерство транспорта, Палату представителей и Президенту Республики Кипр.

Кипр на глобальной карте казино.

В своем интервью управляющий недвижимостью Cyprus Casino Крейг Баллантайн рассказывает, что запуск временного казино C2 в Лимассоле в июне 2018 года ознаменовал собой появление Кипра на глобальной карте казино. С тех пор два казино-спутника работают в Никосии и Ларнаке, а кипрские казино C2 расширяются до Айя-Напы и Пафоса. Вклад C2 в кипрскую экономику уже значителен, поскольку в секторе азартных игр занято более 800 человек, из которых большинство являются гражданами страны. После начала работы казино-курорта City of Dreams Mediterranean в 2021 году будет создано около 2 400 постоянных рабочих мест.

Отчет о Кипре готовит Moneyval – компетентный орган Совета Европы по борьбе с отмыванием денег и финансированием терроризма. Представители Moneyval провели на Кипре почти две недели (13-24 мая) и осуществили проверку «на местах», сосредоточившись на банках, секторах обслуживания и инвестиционной программе Кипра. Ожидается, что предварительные выводы этого органа будут представлены на пленарном заседании в Страсбурге 15-19 июля, а окончательные результаты – на саммите ЕС 2-6 декабря.

Кипрская ассоциация педиатров продолжает спорить с ГЕСИ.

Кипрская ассоциация педиатров выпустила заявление, в котором сформулировала свои претензии к ГЕСИ. В нем поднимаются вопросы, на которые Организация медицинского страхования уже давала ответ в начале мая. Педиатры недовольны, что ОМС экспериментирует с сектором здравоохранения и заявляют, что различные стороны ГЕСИ (перегрузка докторов, ограниченное число препаратов, вакцин и инструментов для диагностики, доступных врачам, отсутствие надлежащих терапевтических протоколов, которые основаны на научных критериях) являются очень проблематичными. ОМС отреагировала незамедлительно, напомнив, что 104 педиатра не согласны с ассоциацией и уже зарегистрированы в ГЕСИ.

Медицинская страховка для граждан третьих стран.

Федерация работодателей и промышленников Кипра (OEB) направила 20 ноября 2018 года министру внутренних дел письмо о необходимости изменить процедуру приема на работу граждан третьих стран до начала реализации первого этапа ГЕСИ. Департамент гражданской регистрации и миграции на днях объявил о конкретных требованиях к частному медицинскому страхованию для граждан третьих стран, которые работают и имеют право на регистрацию в ГЕСИ. До 1 июня 2019 года, когда начнется реализация первого этапа, полная амбулаторная и стационарная помощь будет оказываться только через частную медицинскую страховку. С 1 июня 2019 года по 1 июня 2020 года необходима будет частная страховка только для стационарной помощи (поскольку ГЕСИ на первом этапе покрывает только амбулаторное лечение). С 1 июня 2020 года, после полного внедрения ГЕСИ, единственной необходимой страховкой будет та, которую ГЕСИ не покрывает.

Реакция Минздрава на публикации о больнице в Ларнаке.

Издание Philenews сообщает, что министр здравоохранения Константинос Иоанну ответил на заявления мэра Ларнаки о старой городской больнице. Глава Минздрава пояснил, что в январе 2013 года Кабинет министров выделил часть участка, на котором стоит старая больница Ларнаки, муниципалитету для строительства там мэрии. Министр утверждает, что по этой причине ответственность за переезд больницы лежит на местных властях, однако с 2013 до 2017 года они не предпринимали никаких действий.

    1            Application of terms

    Terms means these terms and conditions titled Terms and conditions of use

    Underlying System means any network, system, software, data or material that underlies or is connected to the Website

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    information remains true, current and complete.

    4.2        You must:

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    b unless with our agreement, access the Website via standard web browsers only and not by any other method. Other methods include scraping, deep-linking, harvesting, data mining, use of a robot or spider, automation, or any similar data gathering, extraction or monitoring method.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
